History

In 1987, a young and talented mathematician named Marko Krajnc started his first software project on a Commodore 64. During his first years in IT, he developed several programs for national research competitions and won several first prizes. A few years later, in 1991, when Marko Krajnc was still in high school, he started as a freelance software developer for the local university. He participated in the development of simulation, analysis and research software for linear dynamic systems. Later, he moved on to study in Austria where he earned a Masters Degree in Telecommunications and Computer Science with honors. To prove his mathematical talents and abilities he earned a bronze medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 1993 (Istanbul, Turkey). Since this first project, he has participated in dozens of commercial projects in the region (Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia) including big-name, prominent clients in Switzerland like: UBS, Credit Suisse, Swisslife and Swisscom. In 2003 he started his first independent business, in 2007 he registered Cursor IT Services Ltd. Today he is a well-established independent IT contractor and consultant who is fluent in three foreign languages in addition to his mother tongue: Slovene.
